All started with a dream. A dream in which an abstract painting came to me. When I woke up I just needed to paint it. The energy of this painting was full of peaceful and joyful feelings. I allowed myself to explore this dream in so many ways, and I still keep doing it. From the exploration these abstract artworks that I called dream series get born.

Everybody has dreams in their hearts, and each painting has the intention of awaken the feelings of our dreams, the importance of dreams in our life. It also has a deeper meaning to create awareness about the truth. A truth that Calderón de la Barca expressed it beautifully in his play Life is a dream (La vida es sueño ,1635):

What is life? A frenzy.
What is life? An illusion,
a shadow, a fiction,
and the greatest good is small;
that all life is a dream,
and the dreams, dreams are.
